Configure Microsoft Outlook

Step 1

Open Microsoft Outlook and click File and then Account Settings -> Account Settings

Step 2

Click on New

Step 3

A new window will appear named Add Account. On it select the Manual Setup or additional server types option and click Next.

Then on the next step select POP or IMAP and click Next.

Step 4

Enter the details as follows:

Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear (Eg., Jane Smith)

E-mail address: type in your full provided email address.

Account Type: We recommend you select the IMAP protocol.

Incoming mail server: Enter yourdomain.com.au (Replace this with your actual domain name)

Outgoing mail server: again, use yourdomain.com.au as you entered for the incoming server;


User name: The username is your full email address. It will be used for both incoming and outgoing connections.

Password: Enter the password we provided you for your email account.

 

Step 5

Click Next

Outlook will begin to test your new account. If the details have been entered correctly your account will have been created.
